MEET EMILY

Emily Johnston Larkin, Owner and Principal Designer, has been designing some of the most beautiful homes in Texas since 2007.

Emily received a Bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Oklahoma's School of Architecture and soon after graduating, started her own interior design firm in Dallas at the young age of twenty four. She has over fifteen years of interior design experience with her background in both commercial and residential projects, and movie theater design.

Emily was recently named a D Home Magazine Best Designer for the eleventh time. Her projects have garnered attention in the design world nationally and internationally from Better Homes and Gardens, House Beautiful, Southern Home, The Cottage Journal, Homes & Gardens, and The Dallas Morning News to name a few. Her work was featured in the book, Southern Spaces for Beautiful Living, and on the cover of Southern Home magazine. Her Lakewood home was recently published in the book, Dream Cottages. She has worked on special projects with notable brands and is involved in community projects with Dwell with Dignity, Kappa Kappa Gamma and the Hollywood Heights and Lakewood Home Tours. Emily won the 2017 PaperCity Design Award for Residential interior design singular space — Bedroom and was a winner of D Home's 2015 "Life in Color Contest".

Emily's organization is unmatched, and her attention to detail shines through in every project. A frequent traveler, she draws inspiration from all over the world to creatively blend a mix of styles and periods in her projects.

In her free time, Emily enjoys combing through antique shops, riding bikes around Lakewood, and spending time with her husband, Ben, and her sweet daughter, Stella.
